In this post, you're going to learn how to join the Amazon affiliate program.
This is going to be the easiest, simplest tutorial you've ever read on joining the Amazon associates or affiliate program.
How to Join Amazon Associates
Click here to go straight to the Amazon associates site. All you're going to do at this point is simply click “Join Now for Free” and then you're going to sign in with your Amazon account.
If you don't have an Amazon account, I don't know what's wrong with you because everyone in the world has an Amazon account (no, I'm just kidding!). But if you don't have an Amazon account, you can simply sign up for an Amazon account and use that to log in.
Then after you've logged in, it will probably ask you a couple of questions like your address, your personal info to sign up but really it's that simple. Then, after you get approved, this is how easy it is to use Amazon associates.
When you come over to Amazon and you are logged in with the Amazon account you use to register as an Amazon associate, you're going to see a nice little Amazon associates stripe bar on the top of the screen. It's going to be a gray bar. It's going to automatically pop up for you when you go to Amazon.
And this is how it works. You can simply type whatever you want into the search bar (like literally whatever you want) and can link to it as an Amazon associate.
For example, I found a random basketball. Let's say, I'm posting about this on my blog and I'm reviewing it and try to get people to buy it on Amazon. You're going to go to the product page, and on the top of the screen, you can see some options. You can get a link through text, image, or text and image. There are all sorts of different links you can get. But for me, I simply grab the text link, copy it, paste it as a link to your blog, Instagram, or wherever you are promoting your affiliate links, paste it there and you're done.
That's how easy it is!
Then you can go into your Amazon associates back office and see your stats. If you scroll down, you can see earnings for the last 30 days. On mine, I got a lot of clicks but not a lot of purchases up to this point (I'm not a big Amazon associates promoter since I don't really promote a lot of products on Amazon).
So, I can look at the reports that I want and look more closely at different time frames if I want to look at specific months or whatever. I want to see if we can find some things that people have bought. If I look at a particular year, I can see I have some data. On the left side of the screen, I can see all the things that people bought on Amazon for which I got credit.
I like to look at all the random stuff people are buying. They're buying ring lights for cameras, bathroom wall storage, computer glasses, etc. But, I get credit for it when they go to Amazon and buy it. So, you can login to Amazon and check your reports and analytics and also see your conversions and clicks.
There you go, guys! That's how you use Amazon associates. It's really that simple to get signed up and start throwing some links wherever you want. It's a great way to make money online.
